Cub Scouting is for boys, and each boy is different. Cub Scouts come in all sizes, shapes, and colors, and from a variety of backgrounds. We realize there are no "average" boy. That is why Cub Scouting is easily adaptable to a boy with a physical, mental, or emotional limitation, just as it is adaptable to boys who come from low-income, urban, or rural areas. When a youngster with a disability participates, there is little doubt that Cub Scouting can be one of the most valuable aids to his physical and mental development.
To become a Cub Scout with Pack 83, just come to our next pack meeting and we will give you the forms you need (see our Calendar page for the date, time and location of our next pack meeting).
Dues
There is a yearly membership fee to join the Scouts, and the dens usually collect minimal dues at the meetings to help defray the costs of patches, activities etc.
Checks should be made payable to "Cub Scouts Pack 83".
